What is the Scout Program?

The Land Grinders Scout Program rewards community members who help us connect with property owners who need our services. When you refer someone who becomes a customer, you earn $50 cash after their project is completed and paid in full.

It's that simple. No selling required. Just share our services with people who have overgrown land, steep slopes, or brush problems in Northern Kentucky.

How It Works

1. Become a Scout Fill out the application below. We'll review your information and send you a Scout Program card with your unique referral QR code.

2. Share with Property Owners When you meet someone with land clearing needs, have them scan your QR code or visit LandGrinders.com/ref and enter your scout name.

3. We Do the Work We'll provide a free estimate, complete the project professionally, and keep you updated on the referral status.

4. You Get Paid Once the job is completed and paid in full, we'll send you $50 via your preferred payment method (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, or Check).

Who Can Be a Scout?

We're looking for scouts who:

  • Live or work in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, or Southeast Indiana

  • Have connections to property owners, developers, or homeowners

  • Understand quality service and professionalism

  • Want to earn extra income by making genuine referrals

You might be a great scout if you:

  • Work in real estate, construction, or property management

  • Own a local business with foot traffic

  • Are active in community organizations

  • Know homeowners with land clearing needs

  • Want to help neighbors while earning referral income

Program Rules & Guidelines

Geographic Service Area

Referrals must be located within our service area: Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Owen, Pendleton, Trimble, Lewis, Robertson Counties (KY), Hamilton, Clermont, Brown Counties (OH), and Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson Counties (IN).

Eligible Services

All Land Grinders services qualify for the $50 referral bonus:

  • Forestry Mulching & Land Clearing

  • Remote-Controlled Slope Mowing (up to 60°)

  • Brush Hogging

  • Box Culvert Clean Out

Minimum project value: We reserve the right to adjust referral payments for unusually small projects at our discretion.

Payment Terms

  • $50 paid per completed referral

  • Payment issued within 14 days of job completion and customer payment received

  • Scout must be in good standing at time of payment

  • Only one scout receives credit per customer referral

  • Referral credit goes to the scout name provided by the customer on the quote form

What Disqualifies a Referral

  • Customer already contacted us directly before the referral

  • Customer was referred by another scout first

  • Project falls outside our service area

  • Customer does not proceed with the project

  • Scout provides false or misleading information to the customer

Code of Conduct

Scouts are expected to:

  • Represent Land Grinders professionally and honestly

  • Never misrepresent our services, pricing, or capabilities

  • Respect potential customers' time and decisions

  • Maintain a positive reputation in the community

Grounds for removal from the Scout Program:

  • Misrepresenting Land Grinders services or pricing

  • Harassing or pressuring potential customers

  • Submitting fake or fraudulent referral information

  • Negative, unprofessional, or unethical behavior

  • Damaging the Land Grinders reputation

  • Any illegal activity related to referrals

Removal decisions are made at the sole discretion of Land Grinders management.

Choose your preferred payment method when you apply:

  • Venmo - Fast digital payment

  • CashApp - Instant mobile payment

  • PayPal - Secure online payment

  • Check - Mailed to your address

How You'll Be Paid

After each completed and paid project:

  1. We verify the referral matches your scout information

  2. We process payment within 14 business days

  3. You receive $50 via your selected payment method

  4. You receive an email confirmation of payment

You'll always know the status of your referrals. We'll notify you when a referral requests a quote, when we complete their project, and when your payment is processed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to become a scout? Most applications are reviewed within 2-3 business days. Once approved, you'll receive your Scout Program card by mail within 7-10 days.

Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make? No limit! Refer as many qualified customers as you'd like.

What if someone doesn't remember my scout name? Encourage them to scan your QR code or save your contact info. If they forget, they can mention your first name and phone number when requesting a quote, and we'll match it to your scout account.

Do I need to sell or pitch your services? No. Simply connect property owners with land clearing needs to Land Grinders. We handle all sales, estimates, and project work.

What if a customer gets multiple services over time? You earn $50 for the first completed project. Additional services for the same customer do not qualify for additional referral payments unless we determine the referral represents a distinctly new project scope.

Can I be a scout if I work for a competitor? No. Scouts cannot be employed by or own competing land clearing businesses.

What if I refer someone but they don't hire you? You only earn the $50 referral fee when the customer completes a paid project with us. Quote requests alone do not qualify for payment.

Program Terms & Conditions

  • Land Grinders reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Scout Program at any time without prior notice.

  • Program terms, payment amounts, and eligible services may change. Scouts will be notified of significant changes via email.

  • All referrals are subject to verification and approval by Land Grinders management.

  • Disputes regarding referral credit will be resolved at the sole discretion of Land Grinders.

  • Participation in the Scout Program does not create an employment relationship, partnership, or agency relationship with Land Grinders.

  • Scouts are responsible for reporting any income earned through the program to appropriate tax authorities.

  • Land Grinders is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Scout Program cards.

  • This program is void where prohibited by law.
